Dr. Sanaz "Sunny" Fereshteh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. With over 15 years of clinical experience across community health centers, private practice, and pediatric dentistry, Dr. Sunny brings exceptional depth and versatility to her patients' care. She is known for her compassionate, ethical approach to dentistry, striving for the best possible outcome for each patient and carrying their wellbeing with her long after they leave the chair. Her commitment to service extends beyond the operatory as well, having led dental humanitarian outreach missions to communities across Asia, Latin America, and Africa, reflecting a lifelong dedication to making quality dental care accessible to all.

Dr. Gardner Beale, DDS - Clinic Founder and Dental Provider
Dr. Gardner Beale earned his DDS from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC and completed his Residency in Pediatric Dentistry from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Beale has proudly served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the USC Dental School for over 40 years. With nearly five decades of experience in pediatric and general dentistry, Dr. Beale spent 48 years at this practice, Dentistry for Children (now Family Dentistry) in Westchester, where he built lasting relationships with generations of families in the community. Dr. Beale's career reflects a lifelong commitment to his patients, his students, and the community he has served with such distinction making him an exceptional clinician and person.
Dr. Katie Nakamura, DDS - Dental Provider
Dr. Katie Nakamura earned her DDS from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC and completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Winslow Indian Health Care Center in Arizona, where she treated patients of the Navajo Nation. Her training deepened her commitment to community-centered care, which she brings to every patient she sees. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring LA's food scene and participating in fantasy football and baseball leagues.
Dr. Stephan Oates, DDS - Dental Provider
Dr. Oates earned his DDS from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland and spent over 30 years there as a clinical instructor. With more than 36 years of experience across multiple specialties — including 21 years of dental implant placement and restoration — he brings exceptional depth of knowledge to every patient he sees. After a long career in Maryland, Dr. Oates relocated to Los Angeles and is proud to now serve patients at our practice.
Emma Duarte - Front Desk
After spending 26 years in the garment industry, Emma made a bold career change into the dental field in 2020. She brings a wealth of customer service experience to every interaction, ensuring seamless scheduling, smooth check-ins, and clear communication between patients and our office. Emma takes great pride in the warm, friendly relationships she builds with each patient and approaches every day as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Daisy Molina - Dental Hygienist
Daisy began her career as a dental assistant in clinics specializing in TMD and sleep apnea, where she spent 12 years witnessing the profound impact of targeted dental care firsthand — and felt called to take on a more direct role in the profession. She became a dental hygienist to help people feel confident in their smiles while delivering the kind of gentle, attentive care that makes every visit feel manageable — even for the most anxious patients. Daisy is known at our clinic for her dedication to clinical excellence, always keeping your comfort and long-term oral health at the center of everything she does.
Valerie Rubman - Dental Hygienist
Valarie began her career as a dental assistant in San Diego, where she developed a passion for patient-centered care that led her to pursue dental hygiene. After earning her degree from West LA College, she has spent 7 years helping people take control of their oral health — educating patients on the small, meaningful changes that make a lasting difference. Outside the clinic, she treasures time with family and friends — whether that's a walk along the beach or an afternoon at the park.
